Sustainable Tourism Conference
A conference will be given in Costa Rica from the 26 to 29th of October, this same year. It will be The First International Conference of Sustainable Tourism. This conference is done in our country since Costa Rica heads the road in this topic and enlarges everyday its knowledge of sustainable tourism. The conference as such will have connoted experts in the industry. This conference is carried out in order to maintaining a talk on the challenges and the opportunities that the sustainable tourism faces all around the world.
This event will have the honor of including the following presenters and participats:
• Dr. Kelly Bricker, President of The International Ecotourism Society
• Masaru Takayama, President of the Japanese Association of Ecolodges
• Oliver Hillel, Official of the Program of Tourism, Secretariat of the Convention in Diversity Biological/UNEP, Montreal, Canada.
• Sonam Dorji, Executive of Planning and Politics of the Kingdom of Bután.
• Wim Dierckxsens, Economist from Holland, working in Bután.
• Bruno Stagno, Architect and Founder of the Foundation for Tropical Architecture, Costa Rica.
• Bruce Poon Tip, Founder and President of Gap Adventures, one of the most successful businessmen of tourism of Canada.
The cost of the conference before Spetember 15th will be of $330 for the Members of Canaeco and of $380 for the ones that are not part of it. After September 15th the conference will have a cost of $380 for the Members of Canaeco and of $430 for the ones that aren’t. This admission includes the registration to the conference, 3 lunches, 5 snacks and social activities.
